October is an exciting month as Academy-award nominated director Terrence Malick is filming his new as-yet-untitled film at Acquavilla and Soaring Wings: two of our homes in Austin, Texas. The film is about intersecting love triangles, obsession and betrayal, centered around the music industry in Austin. The star-studded cast includes Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Rooney Mara and Benicio Del Toro. The crew filmed for one day at Soaring Wings, and two days at Acquavilla. The Soaring Wings shoot was rumored to have Michael Fassbender, the star, plunging fully clothed into the black granite swimming pool. We are excited to see how master director Malick makes use of these unique homes as sets and will keep you updated on the progress of the film.
